Garlic Butter Steak Tasty. Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper. Remove skillet from the oven and heat over medium-high heat.
Place the steak on a wire rack on top of a baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, garlic, salt and parsley, mixing well. Heat the olive oil in a large cast iron skillet over high heat. (If you don't have a cast iron skillet just use a regular large skillet.) When the pan is hot, add the steak in one layer.
Add the steaks to the hot air fryer basket - be sure that they are flat and there is space for the air to circulate.
Add the remaining butter, garlic powder, and salt to the pan.
Season with salt to taste then use a fork to work in the ingredients into the butter. Generously season both sides with salt and pepper. Cook the steak until the first side is crispy golden brown, flip, and place the pat of butter on the top of the meat.
