Homemade Chicken Tikka Masala Recipe. Thread chicken onto skewers, and discard marinade. Melt butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat.
Remove chicken pieces from skillet; set aside and keep covered. Thread the chicken on to the skewers and place them on a prepared tray. Take the chicken out of the oven and put the chicken pieces into the sauce along with the cream.
Cook, stirring for a couple of minutes.
Blend until smooth: Discard bay leaves, cinnamon stick and cloves.
Make the sauce: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Heat a kadai/wok with a tablespoon of butter. Cut a few slices into each chicken thigh then place on a wire rack over an oven-proof dish.
